Symmy connects Hubspot with Odoo. Orders flow from Hubspot into Odoo, while product and stock data as well as documents travel the other way. For this pair we transfer 3 agendas — each one separately, in the direction and interval you choose. E-shops are the most common counterparty, but the same modules also flow to CRM, WMS or B2B portals. These values are defaults, not fixed rules. The direction and interval can be changed for each module, and modules not listed here can be added — we shorten the interval when your operation needs a faster response, or extend it when less frequent synchronisation is enough.
How the connection works
On the Hubspot side we use: REST API, OAuth2 / private app token. We connect Odoo via: XML-RPC / JSON-RPC across all models.
Regarding licences: API limits vary by plan. We will verify this during the initial analysis so your budget accounts for it from the start.

Versions and community modules change API fields.
Odoo evolves quickly and modules add their own fields. We tune the mapping against your version and module set, not against generic documentation.

A dedicated API account with limited rights.
XML-RPC can do practically anything a user can. For the integration we create a dedicated account with rights only to the models it needs — safer operation and a cleaner audit trail.

API limits grow with the plan.
HubSpot caps the number of requests according to your plan. We set the synchronisation frequency so it fits within your tier.

Contacts vs. companies: matching the associations.
HubSpot separates contacts and companies linked by associations. We agree at which level the matching with the ERP happens, otherwise duplicates appear.

Do I need an extra licence or module for the integration?
API limits vary by plan. We will verify the details during the initial analysis.
What happens when Odoo is unavailable?
The synchronisation retries the connection in the next interval, and keeps retrying until it reconnects. An alert goes out the moment the problem is detected, so you will know about the outage before it shows up in your orders.
