Set up your credentials

Enter your Azure Application ID, Directory ID, and Client Secret. From Raynet, you'll also need your API key and installation name. The whole setup takes under 10 minutes.

What you'll need

To run the sync, you'll need credentials from two systems. Everything can be obtained from the Azure and Raynet admin portals.

If you'd rather have us handle the setup, choose the assisted installation and we'll take care of everything.

How does two-way synchronization work?
If you create an event in Raynet, it automatically appears in Outlook. And vice versa — an Outlook event shows up in your Raynet calendar. The same applies to edits and deletions. The sync runs continuously in the background — no action needed.
What happens to private events in Outlook?
Private Outlook events are transferred to Raynet only with the date and time. The title, location, and description are not saved — sensitive information stays exclusively in Outlook.
What happens when an attendee is not in Raynet?
If you add an attendee to an event who isn't registered in Raynet, the system automatically creates them as a new contact. No need to add them manually.
Is a meeting from Outlook automatically linked to a client in Raynet?
Yes. The integration looks up the meeting attendees in Raynet by their e-mail addresses and assigns the activity to the company most frequently represented among them. A client you have set manually in Raynet is never overwritten. Automatic assignment requires the attendee to exist in Raynet as a contact linked to a company — for a brand-new contact you assign the company once manually, and every following meeting is matched automatically.
What activity type is an Outlook meeting saved as in Raynet?
A new meeting from Outlook is created in Raynet as an activity of type Event. If Raynet already contains a Meeting or a Phone call with the same time and title, the integration smartly links them — no duplicate record is created.
What if several colleagues attend the same meeting?
Raynet always gets just one record, even when the meeting appears in several colleagues' calendars — all of them are listed as participants. If someone declines the invitation in Outlook, they are removed from the activity's participants; if the organizer cancels the meeting, the activity is cleaned up for everyone.
How do external invitations work?
Raynet requires an internal meeting owner. So when an external invitation comes in, the sync account used for the integration is automatically set as the owner.
Can I synchronize recurring events?
Yes, the integration supports both one-time and recurring events — such as weekly standups or monthly meetings. All occurrences are synchronized automatically.
Does the integration support online meetings with a Microsoft Teams link?
Yes. A meeting created in Outlook or Teams is transferred to Raynet including the join link — the salesperson finds it right in the activity description.
How many accounts can I synchronize?
There's no limit on the number of accounts. You pay 3 EUR per active account (with at least one synchronized event in the given month), with a minimum of 15 EUR/month. The price scales automatically for large teams.
What are the technical prerequisites?
You'll need an Azure account with credentials (Application ID, Directory ID, Client Secret) and a Raynet API key with the installation name. A full description can be found in the Technical Requirements section, or we can set everything up as part of the assisted installation.
