Symmy connects Odoo with Money S4. Orders flow from Odoo into Money S4, while product and stock data as well as documents travel the other way. For this pair we transfer 7 agendas — each one separately, in the direction and interval you choose. A basic connection of one agenda takes 6–12 hours of work depending on its type; we will refine the exact scope after an initial meeting.

E-shops are the most common counterparty, but the same modules also flow to CRM, WMS or B2B portals. These values are defaults, not fixed rules. The direction and interval can be changed for each module, and modules not listed here can be added — we shorten the interval when your operation needs a faster response, or extend it when less frequent synchronisation is enough.
How the connection works
On the Odoo side we use: XML-RPC / JSON-RPC across all models. We connect Money S4 via: S5API — REST and GraphQL, OAuth2.
Regarding licences: S5API is a separate Money ERP module. We will verify this during the initial analysis so your budget accounts for it from the start.

Write validation needs well-prepared data.
Money rejects any write that doesn't meet its rules (mandatory fields, relations, VAT rates). We tune the mapping against the actual rules of your installation.

Versions and community modules change API fields.
Odoo evolves quickly and modules add their own fields. We tune the mapping against your version and module set, not against generic documentation.

A dedicated API account with limited rights.
XML-RPC can do practically anything a user can. For the integration we create a dedicated account with rights only to the models it needs — safer operation and a cleaner audit trail.

Do I need an extra licence or module for the integration?
S5API is a separate Money ERP module. We will verify the details during the initial analysis.
What happens when Money S4 is unavailable?
The synchronisation retries the connection in the next interval, and keeps retrying until it reconnects. An alert goes out the moment the problem is detected, so you will know about the outage before it shows up in your orders.
