Symmy connects Odoo with Evala. Orders flow from Odoo into Evala, while product and stock data as well as documents travel the other way. For this pair we transfer 7 agendas — each one separately, in the direction and interval you choose. A basic connection of one agenda takes 6–12 hours of work depending on its type; we will refine the exact scope after an initial meeting.

E-shops are the most common counterparty, but the same modules also flow to CRM, WMS or B2B portals. These values are defaults, not fixed rules. The direction and interval can be changed for each module, and modules not listed here can be added — we shorten the interval when your operation needs a faster response, or extend it when less frequent synchronisation is enough.
How the connection works
On the Odoo side we use: XML-RPC / JSON-RPC across all models. We connect Evala via: Evala API; ISDOC import as a supplement.
What to watch out for

Document number series: who assigns the numbers.
When invoices are created in both the e-shop and the accounting system, it must be clear up front whose number series applies — otherwise you get duplicates or gaps in the series that the accountant has to chase down by hand.

Matching customers and companies.
Each document must be assigned to the right entity. We agree on the matching key — company ID (IČO), e-mail, or an internal identifier — and on what happens when the entity doesn't exist in Evala yet.

The e-shop shows prices with VAT, the ERP without it.
Converting prices between the systems creates a rounding difference that adds up across hundreds of documents. That's why we agree at the outset which side is authoritative for the price — we can round, send VAT-exclusive prices per the ERP, or the other way around. What matters is that the result reconciles with your accounting.

Versions and community modules change API fields.
Odoo evolves quickly and modules add their own fields. We tune the mapping against your version and module set, not against generic documentation.

A dedicated API account with limited rights.
XML-RPC can do practically anything a user can. For the integration we create a dedicated account with rights only to the models it needs — safer operation and a cleaner audit trail.

How much does the integration cost?
We charge 85 € excl. VAT per hour. Connecting one module takes 6–12 hours depending on its type, more for larger systems — we confirm the exact scope after an initial call. The calculator above gives an estimate for your combination of modules.
What happens when Evala is unavailable?
The synchronisation retries the connection in the next interval, and keeps retrying until it reconnects. An alert goes out the moment the problem is detected, so you will know about the outage before it shows up in your orders.
