Symmy connects Depoto with Money S4. Orders flow from Depoto into Money S4, while product and stock data as well as documents travel the other way. E-shops are the most common counterparty, but the same modules also flow to CRM, WMS or B2B portals. These values are defaults, not fixed rules. The direction and interval can be changed for each module, and modules not listed here can be added — we shorten the interval when your operation needs a faster response, or extend it when less frequent synchronisation is enough.
How the connection works
On the Depoto side we use: Open GraphQL API. We connect Money S4 via: S5API — REST and GraphQL, OAuth2.
Regarding licences: S5API is a separate Money ERP module. We will verify this during the initial analysis so your budget accounts for it from the start.

Write validation needs well-prepared data.
Money rejects any write that doesn't meet its rules (mandatory fields, relations, VAT rates). We tune the mapping against the actual rules of your installation.

Depoto creates reservations automatically when an order comes in.
The availability Depoto passes on is already reduced by reservations. Neither the e-shop nor the ERP may create their own reservations on top of the same stock — otherwise the same units get deducted twice and availability no longer matches reality.

Order process statuses must be mapped in advance.
An order in Depoto moves through statuses from Received to Dispatched. We agree up front which Depoto status corresponds to which status in your ERP and e-shop — otherwise the customer sees a different status than what's actually in the warehouse.

What happens when Money S4 is unavailable?
The synchronisation retries the connection in the next interval, and keeps retrying until it reconnects. An alert goes out the moment the problem is detected, so you will know about the outage before it shows up in your orders.
