Raynet × Outlook / Self-service setup

Self-service Installation Guide

Connect Raynet to Outlook yourself, step by step. The setup usually takes 15–30 minutes. If you run into any trouble, we're available at raynet@symmy.com.

What you'll need

  • Access to the Azure Portal with permission to create App registrations
  • An admin account in Raynet
  • Approximately 15–30 minutes
01

Register an application in Azure Active Directory

Sign in to the Azure Portal and create a new app registration. This gives you the credentials that Symmy will use to access your Outlook calendar.

Click "New registration" and fill in a name (e.g. "Raynet Sync")
Copy Application (client) ID — you'll need it later
Copy Directory (tenant) ID from the Overview tab
02

Create a Client Secret

The Client Secret is a secret key that allows the application to authenticate. Copy the value immediately after creation — you won't be able to see it again once you leave the page.

In the app registration go to Certificates & secrets
Click "New client secret", enter a description and expiry
Copy the value in the "Value" column (not the ID!)
03

Set up API permissions

The application needs read and write permissions to the calendar through the Microsoft Graph API.

Go to API permissions → Add a permission → Microsoft Graph
Select Application permissions → Calendars → Calendars.ReadWrite
Click "Grant admin consent" and confirm
04

Get your Raynet API key

Generate an API key in Raynet and note your installation name. You'll need both when setting up the integration.

In Raynet go to Settings → Integrations / API
Generate a new API key — the format will be crm-xxxx...
Note your installation name — the URL format is app.raynet.cz/name/
Prepare the username of your admin account
05

Configure the integration in Symmy

Once you have everything ready, reach out — we'll walk you through the remaining steps or send you a direct configuration link.

Prepare Application ID, Directory ID, Client Secret from Azure
Prepare Raynet API key, installation name, and admin account
Send everything to raynet@symmy.com or reach out
