Symmy connects Shopify with Winshop STD. Orders flow from Shopify into Winshop STD, while product and stock data as well as documents travel the other way. For this pair we transfer 7 agendas — each one separately, in the direction and interval you choose. A basic connection of one agenda takes 6–12 hours of work depending on its type; we will refine the exact scope after an initial meeting.

E-shops are the most common counterparty, but the same modules also flow to CRM, WMS or B2B portals. These values are defaults, not fixed rules. The direction and interval can be changed for each module, and modules not listed here can be added — we shorten the interval when your operation needs a faster response, or extend it when less frequent synchronisation is enough.
How the connection works
On the Shopify side we use: Admin API — REST and GraphQL, OAuth2. We connect Winshop STD via: XML interface, or direct DB access.
Regarding licences: Connecting via the DB usually needs no licence; via the API it does. We will verify this during the initial analysis so your budget accounts for it from the start.
What to watch out for
-
1
The e-shop usually needs available stock, not physical stock.
When you send the absolute stock level without deducting reservations, the e-shop offers goods already promised to another order — the result is overselling and cancelled orders. Symmy sends the stock level you choose: physical, available, or with order reservations deducted. The calculation logic can be tailored exactly to your operations.
-
2
The e-shop shows prices with VAT, the ERP without it.
Converting prices between the two systems creates a rounding difference that adds up across hundreds of documents. That's why we agree at the start which side owns the price — we can round, send VAT-exclusive prices to the e-shop per the ERP, or the other way round. What matters is that the result reconciles with your accounting.
-
3
Orders must not be edited on both sides at once.
Without a single source of truth, conflicts arise that synchronisation has no way to resolve. We recommend treating the ERP as the source of truth and the e-shop as the channel orders arrive through.
-
4
We match variants via SKU.
Shopify keeps sizes and colours as variants of one product; the other system often models them differently. The matching key is the SKU — without consistent codes on both sides, the catalogue drifts apart.
-
5
The Admin API has rate limits.
Shopify allocates request capacity in small buckets. For large catalogues we paginate and queue the synchronisation so changes go through without exhausting the limit.

Frequently asked questions
How much does the integration cost?
We charge 85 € excl. VAT per hour. Connecting one module takes 6–12 hours depending on its type, more for larger systems — we confirm the exact scope after an initial call. The calculator above gives an estimate for your combination of modules.
Do I need an extra licence or module for the integration?
Connecting via the DB usually needs no licence; via the API it does. We will verify the details during the initial analysis.
What happens when Winshop STD is unavailable?
The synchronisation retries the connection in the next interval, and keeps retrying until it reconnects. An alert goes out the moment the problem is detected, so you will know about the outage before it shows up in your orders.
