Symmy connects WooCommerce with Microsoft Dynamics 365. Orders flow from WooCommerce into Microsoft Dynamics 365, while product and stock data as well as documents travel the other way. For this pair we transfer 7 agendas — each one separately, in the direction and interval you choose. A basic connection of one agenda takes 6–12 hours of work depending on its type; we will refine the exact scope after an initial meeting.

| Issued invoices | Microsoft Dynamics 365 → WooCommerce | 60 min |
| Product Cards | Microsoft Dynamics 365 → WooCommerce | 60 min |
| Stock availability | Microsoft Dynamics 365 → WooCommerce | 60 min |
| Price lists | Microsoft Dynamics 365 → WooCommerce | 60 min |

| Parcel number transport | Microsoft Dynamics 365 → WooCommerce | 60 min |
E-shops are the most common counterparty, but the same modules also flow to CRM, WMS or B2B portals. These values are defaults, not fixed rules. The direction and interval can be changed for each module, and modules not listed here can be added — we shorten the interval when your operation needs a faster response, or extend it when less frequent synchronisation is enough.
How the connection works
On the WooCommerce side we use: WooCommerce REST API (keys in the administration). We connect Microsoft Dynamics 365 via: Dataverse Web API (REST/OData), OAuth2.
What to watch out for
-
1
Dataverse has API request limits.
D365 meters API consumption per user per day. We plan the synchronisation to fit within your licence limits — otherwise Microsoft throttles the requests.
-
2
Enterprise processes call for an analysis.
D365 tends to be part of a wider architecture with approvals and custom workflows. We design the connection after analysing the environment, including which system is the source of truth for which data.
-
3
Plugins change the order structure.
Discount, shipping and payment plugins all touch the order data. We tune the integration against your real e-shop with its plugins enabled, not against a clean WooCommerce install.
-
4
REST API performance depends on the hosting.
WooCommerce runs on your server — large catalogues and traffic peaks can slow the API down. We set intervals and batch sizes according to your hosting's performance.
Which Dynamics do you actually have
Several different products share the Dynamics name, and they do not share an interface. Before anyone can say what the integration looks like, it has to be clear which one you run — and the record mapping differs with it, which is why it is written during analysis rather than promised up front.
The Dynamics family: what became what
| Dynamics NAV (Navision) | Business Central | The direct successor. Older NAV installations connect over web services; Business Central over a REST API and OAuth2. |
| Dynamics AX | Finance & Operations | A large enterprise product with its own data model. Integrated through OData and data entities, not through the same interface as Business Central. |
| Dynamics GP (Great Plains) | No direct successor | Microsoft points customers to Business Central. A GP connection is handled case by case, depending on the version and the interface available. |
| Dynamics CRM | Dynamics 365 Sales | The sales side, not accounting. For an e-shop it is usually not the counterpart — that is Business Central or Finance & Operations. |
What we need on your side
- Which of the products above you actually run, and in which version — that decides everything else in the brief.
- Access to your product’s interface (a REST API and an Entra ID app registration for Business Central, OData and data entities for Finance & Operations, web services for older NAV).
- A test environment holding a copy of your production setup including your extensions — that is what we build and test against.
- WooCommerce REST API keys with read and write scope, plus a list of plugins that touch orders, prices or shipping.
- A decision on how products and customers are matched. That decision either carries the go-live or sinks it.
How the project runs
- 01 Establishing what you run We determine the product and version and what your extensions expose. Without this step neither the scope nor the price can be estimated.
- 02 Analysis and mapping We go through the modules and write the mapping for your specific product — what becomes what and how records are matched.
- 03 Build against a test environment The integration runs against a test environment holding your configuration. You see the first real orders there before anything touches production.
- 04 Go-live and monitoring The switch to production, then round-the-clock monitoring. For the first weeks we watch the intervals and tune them to real traffic.

Frequently asked questions
How much does the integration cost?
We charge 85 € excl. VAT per hour. Connecting one module takes 6–12 hours depending on its type, more for larger systems — we confirm the exact scope after an initial call. The calculator above gives an estimate for your combination of modules.
What happens when Microsoft Dynamics 365 is unavailable?
The synchronisation retries the connection in the next interval, and keeps retrying until it reconnects. An alert goes out the moment the problem is detected, so you will know about the outage before it shows up in your orders.
