Symmy connects Mailstep with Helios iNuvio. Orders flow from Mailstep into Helios iNuvio, while product and stock data as well as documents travel the other way. For this pair we transfer 4 agendas — each one separately, in the direction and interval you choose. A basic connection of one agenda takes 6–12 hours of work depending on its type; we will refine the exact scope after an initial meeting.

What we transfer and how often
| Module | Direction | Default interval |
|---|---|---|
| Orders received | Mailstep → Helios iNuvio | 15 min |
| Product Cards | Helios iNuvio → Mailstep | 60 min |
| Stock availability | Helios iNuvio → Mailstep | 60 min |
| Parcel number transport | Helios iNuvio → Mailstep | 60 min |
E-shops are the most common counterparty, but the same modules also flow to CRM, WMS or B2B portals. These values are defaults, not fixed rules. The direction and interval can be changed for each module, and modules not listed here can be added — we shorten the interval when your operation needs a faster response, or extend it when less frequent synchronisation is enough.
How the connection works
On the Mailstep side we use: API with a developer portal. We connect Helios iNuvio via: REST API (OpenAPI 3.0.3) via the eServer module.
Regarding licences: The API is free for Mailstep customers. eServer is a separately licensed module with its own user licences. We will verify this during the initial analysis so your budget accounts for it from the start.
What to watch out for
-
1
The eServer module is licensed separately.
iNuvio's REST API runs through eServer, which carries its own user licences. We will verify whether you have it, and at what scope, during the initial analysis — so it's in the budget from day one.
-
2
Older installations without eServer.
A direct connection via database procedures is also possible, but the REST layer is safer and more stable across Helios updates. For older installations we therefore assess first what makes sense.
-
3
The e-shop shows prices with VAT, the ERP without it.
Converting prices between the systems creates a rounding difference that adds up across hundreds of documents. That's why we agree at the outset which side is authoritative for the price — we can round, send VAT-exclusive prices per the ERP, or the other way around. What matters is that the result reconciles with your accounting.
-
4
Once fulfilment is handed over, Mailstep owns the truth about stock.
The ERP and e-shop must defer to Mailstep's statuses — otherwise the numbers drift apart within days. We set up the flows so that one place decides about availability.
-
5
Map order statuses before launch.
An order passes through a series of statuses in fulfilment. We determine up front which Mailstep status corresponds to which status in your e-shop and ERP.

Frequently asked questions
How much does the integration cost?
We charge 85 € excl. VAT per hour. Connecting one module takes 6–12 hours depending on its type, more for larger systems — we confirm the exact scope after an initial call. The calculator above gives an estimate for your combination of modules.
Do I need an extra licence or module for the integration?
The API is free for Mailstep customers. eServer is a separately licensed module with its own user licences. We will verify the details during the initial analysis.
What happens when Helios iNuvio is unavailable?
The synchronisation retries the connection in the next interval, and keeps retrying until it reconnects. An alert goes out the moment the problem is detected, so you will know about the outage before it shows up in your orders.
